Frequently Asked Questions
What is Amazon Web Services (AWS)?
AWS is the cloud computing platform that hosts Schoox LMS. Schoox has been a full alliance partner of AWS since 2012.
What is HTTPS?
Hypertext Transfer Protocol Secure (HTTPS) is a secure way to send data between a web server and a web browser. Transport Layer Security (TLS) provides privacy and data security for internet communications. Communication between learners and the Schoox application is secured through HTTPS over TLS.
What is data durability?
Durability measures the likelihood of data loss over time. Cloud computing platforms like AWS claim 11 nines of durability (99.999999999%), which is a mathematical way of saying, “if you store one million data objects for 10 million years, you would expect to lose a single object.” Simply put, your data is safe and secure.
